OUR PAST

A group consolidated by 20 years of activity interacts to face and manage the many aspects of an increasingly competitive and dynamic world: that of the so-called Sport Economy. A team that works whole-heartedly to support the career and ambitions of athletes or the pursuit of the goals of sports clubs or of those who invest in sport for business purposes. 20 years of activity that have given us unforgettable moments: “our” title holders of Italy, France, England, Europe and World Champions make us proud and urge us to work even more intensely to improve our professional assistance. Players, managers, lawyers, professors, accountants, former professional players and commercial and media executives work closely together to guarantee the best solutions for your activity with an important assertion that perhaps differentiates us from others: we do not bestow dreams, but we do our best to help you achieve them.

Passion, commitment and professionalism at the service of sport and the psycho-physical well-being of the Person. We strongly believe in the values promoted by the International Olympic Committee and in the value of Education. There is no athlete, sport club or company that cannot integrate their competitive or institutional commitments with training activities. We are honored to represent many professional athletes who, despite the strenuous commitments on the field or court, have had the tenacity to conclude many challenging university or professional courses. Furthermore, S.P.A. does its best to support its clients because an Athlete is first and foremost a Person and a sports club must represent a “School for life”. Sport, Culture and Education contribute to making individuals and the society in which we live better in both everyday life and in competitive events.

FLAVIO DAMIANO

Professional rugby player for 13 years at the highest level in Italy (Italian Top 10 Championship with Petrarca Rugby and Rugby Rovigo). He also played for the Italian National Team at the Nations Cup 2006. During his career he won two Junior Championship (U18 and U20), he played more than 200 matches with the senior teams in the Italian Championships and European Cups and he took part at the Italian Cup Final in 2006 and the Italian Championship Final in 2011. after having studied at the faculty of business economics and at the end of his sporting career, he attended masters in sports and started to devote himself to sports management, gaining experience in the management of athletes and event organization in over 8 years.

DAVIDE FERRARA

Graduated with first class honours in Medicine and Surgery (cum laude) at the University of Padua (the oldest Medicine University in the world). Specialized in Legal Medicine and Toxicology. Full and Emeritus Professor at the same University. Director of the Forensic Toxicology and Antidoping Complex Structure of Padova University-Hospital. Director of the Specialization School of Legal Medicine at the University of Padova. Since 1990 he is the Regional Representative of The International Association of Forensic Toxicologists (TIAFT).
From 2001 to 2005 he was a Member of the National Commission of the Ministry of Health for the “Control of Doping and Health Protection in Sporting Events”.
From 2009 he was Vice President European Council of Legal Medicine.
From 2009 to 2012 he was President-Representative of the European Academy of Legal Medicine and a Member of the Presidium Board of the International Academy of Legal Medicine.
From 2013 to 2018 he was President of the International Academy of Legal Medicine.
He was Member of the Scientific Commission “Antidoping” of the Italian Federation of Football (FIGC).
He acted as consultant for the United Nations – Drug Control Programme and the World Health Organization – Division of Mental Health developing and directing social-sanitary health programs in Asia, South America and Africa in the arena of Legal Medicine and Forensic Toxicology.
He received diverse national and international scientific awards including the Widmark Award, Australia 1995.
Author of more than 400 publications including books and articles in both national and international, peer reviewed journals. ANDREA MARCENTA

Graduated in Political Science in Padua in 2005 (Thesis: “Youth conditions: forms of hardship”, a work with a focus on the 15-30 age group).
He riceved the qualification to practice FIFA Agent activity by the Italian Football Federation on September 2009.
Graduated in Law in Rome (2012). Registered as a lawyer in the Forum of Rome.
Since 2006 he started working as a sports consultant with the lawyer Benelle.
The collaboration got stronger in 2008, after the foundation of the legal office that belongs to the Lawyers Benelle, Ferrara and Pasqualin. This legal office specializes in sport and international law.
As an expert in sports law, he provides assistance to sports clubs and players, especially in reference to national and international transfers of professional and not professional footballers.
He organized with the lawyer Benelle a competent structure for assisting players and their families during their professional career.

FEDERICO MORETTI

Professional volleyball player. He had a successful career playing, in the role of the opposite, in Italy for 15 years in the Serie A division. He also recently holds a Masters in International Business Management.

MANUELA PEDRI

Graduated in Architecture from the IUAV of Venice. Always passionate about sports, volleyball in particular, she was team manager of the youth teams of Verovolley (MB), Ata Trento Volley (TN), Us Torri Volley (VI). Since 2018 she has been working as a volleyball agent, focusing mainly on young athletes and collaborating with SPA’s in social media management.

NATALIA POROSA

Of Polish Canadian decent graduated with honours on an Athletic scholarship from George Mason University earning her B.S.E.D in Physical and Health Education. Fluent in 3 languages, English, Polish and Italian and following her love of sport she decided to focus her career in sports management in 2012 and has been working as a volleyball agent ever since, mainly focusing on the women’s market in Europe.

MASSIMO TOMALINO

Professional volley player. He began his volleyball career in the Serie A1 Italian league in 1994. His career lasted over 10 years. He graduated from the University of Parma in 2004 with a Law degree where he defended his thesis “The Free Movement of Workers in European Sport”. A founding member and, until 2006, part of the Board of Director for the Italian Volleyball Players Association (AIPAV). Massimo has been an agent ever since he became a qualified member of Lega Pallavolo Serie A agent register in 2005, in both the male and female league. One of the few International FIVB agents. Massimo is the owner of VPA and deals with both male and female volleyball markets.

LEONARDO BENELLE

Graduated in Law. Registered with the Padua Bar Association. Master degrees and participation in specialized sports law courses. During the first years of his career he worked at the Pavia e Ansaldo law firm (Padua office) and at the Dario Canovi law firm (Rome office). He founded the current law firm specializing in sports and international law in 2008 together with his colleagues Marco Ferrara and Paolo Pasqualin. As an expert in sports law, Benelle provides assistance to sports clubs and players, in particular with reference to national and international transfers of professional footballers.
He strongly believes in young players and has organized a competent structure to assist them and their families during the growth path to focus on professionalism.
